The Heart Channels was founded by Annie Potts to build and nurture channels of the heart between people who are in need and those who wish to help. She is an actor known for her roles in Young Sheldon, Ghostbusters, Designing Women, Any Day Now, and for the voice of Bo Peep in the Toy Story series.

There is a distinct and perilous position facing single mothers as they try to work, care for children, and provide housing for their families-often while they themselves are recovering from trauma. Providing stabilization through rent assistance, daycare assistance and grocery support can make the difference between homelessness and a new life for single mothers and their children.
